Default Brake pad selection

Suggestions needed based on experience from those running BBK up front with stock rear setup. Car setup includes typical things like coilovers, 200 tread rated tires, forged wheels, and track alignment with no aero. Previous experience on stock setup is with Carbotech XP 12/10 and Winmax W5. What combination of brake pads would help maintain front/rear brake bias? Appreciate any insight. Thanks.

I'm a big fan of Raybestos pads. I'm running ST43 Front and ST42 rear pads on the standard stoptech ST40 BBK calipers with urge rear 2-piece rotors.

Likewise here. Have had great experience with Raybestos ST43 on the Stoptech C43 BBK as well.

I seem to see a lot of videos that people bent the backing plate. Have you experienced that?

Since you've got a 2006, it has EBD, so pad selection to maintain front/rear bias shouldn't be as important as with earlier model years. I'm not sure how much difference that can compensate for though. As far as what pads to correct bias from a BBK up front, it really depends on what BBK you have. Some keep near stock bias, whereas others shift it significantly.

How do these compare to the ST43, in the event you've ran those before?

I'm very happy with the ST43 so haven't had any need to change it up, but always value feedback from others.
