Default Brakes, Brales, Brakes

Hi again guys/gals

Wanted to get some insight on some brake pads. I am currently looking at stops tech SS lines and PMU hc 800 and was wondering what the general consensus on them was? From what I've read they are a pretty good hybrid brake pads (though I know no hybrid is ever going to be as good as a track set). Also, are there any other pads you would suggest? Should I just get pmu CRs from the start?

What I use the car for:

Sometimes dd
autox throughout the year
2-3 track days a year

Thanks

id get the 800 the club racers dont have much bite when cold and for your application of mostly autox its fine.

carbotech xp8 still ok as well.

Im going to go with Brian's suggestion and say AX6s as well. They hold up pretty well on track too, but might want to think about xp8s or 10s for dedicated track use depending on how heavy braking you need at your particular track. They are interchangeable with the same rotors too which is good. If you want to save some coin Hawk blues aint bad. A lot of initial bite for autox as well. Do note they are a little corrosive on wheel finish and will eat rotors faster than the Carbos.

I like Cobalt Friction XR2 XR3 combo for autox and beginer track day. I'm now running XR1 and XR3 for track day.

Ebc yellows have worked well for me as a hybrid pad. Especially for the price. People also seem to like the stop tech performance street pad for a budget hybrid pad. Once you start spending 300-400 plus on pads, you might as well get dedicated track pads.

I bought these also, installed on my AP1 for Autocross and a possible track day.

Pads are great for Autocross and street. Dust some when used heavily, a little squeal on light pressures.

Pads get better as they heat up, good bite when cold still.
