Default Broken engine mounts

If you track your S2000 often please check your engine mounts... mine were broken. You will notice little oil under the engine mount.

It's a reddish fluid. Anyone with a MY03 and earlier should check. They seem to fail after some autocross / track and ~8 years. I've had mine replaced on our 02 and our friend had his replaced when his tore (01).

if you track your car they are broken 9 times out of 10
I just changed mine with the innovative mounts

its the pass side that breaks I think.

Will the factory mounts regularly break (after every 8-10 events) or is it more like every 4 years?
They look like a pain to replace - what is the procedure?

Mine broke after 7 years of ownership which included 40+ track days and several dozen auto-x's. YMMV.
