Default Broom Stick Test

I am concerned about a potential broom stick test for an upcoming DE.

Can anyone with the HD bolt in bar take pics of a broom stick test?

Seems to me as though you'd have to be fairly short to clear with a helmet on even with the HD bar.

Obviously state your height.

How tall are you and how much lower than stock is your seat mounted?

5'10" and maybe ~1.5 inches lower than stock.

remember, it's your torso-to-head height that matters. Your legs stick forward when seated and don't affect your seated height.

I have not had any issues using my HD bar, I do have SPG Recaro seat, and am 5'11''. The last event I went to, they told me that they do a straight line from the front of the bumper to the top of the Roll Bar. Under these sets of rules, I would not have passed and would have needed a bar about 6-10" higher. They let me do the event anyway, and I think it won't be an issue down the road, but was surprised to hear how they do their measuring...

That's retarded. For that to be meaningful in any way, they'd need to know where - in relation to the bumper cover - the structural members that they can't see are.

They're assuming complete and total collapse of the a pillar. Not very realistic or, therefore, useful.

I don't think it's all that unreasonable an assumption... but their methodology sucks.
