I recommend a baffled pan as well. Great idea to prevent oil starvation. So why'd you go with 17x8s and not 17x9s?

WELL... I went with that set up purely from a kinematics standpoint (because that was the point of discussion in my physics class at that time of year LOL). Smaller wheels & tires => smaller rotational mass, a little more braking performance and faster acceleration out of turns at the sacrifice of a little overall grip. Honestly, I have yet to notice any lack of handling abilities; outcornering every car I can see and getting left behind on the straights haha.

Very much agreed. However, with the way the Gridlife rules are, forced induction will have to be the way to go from next tier upwards. Car will stay NA for at least another season, but after that... it'll be fun to find out!

Well now that the actual season is over, I'll be starting the development of the car over the winter and document it all here.
First and foremost, I want to say Thank You to Stance Suspensions for sponsoring me and providing me with a set of new and custom-valved XR1. Spring rates are 14K front and 12K rear. I'll have a more detailed write-up coming soon.
A few more things planned/happening: a minor engine refresh with new air filter and valve adjustable is planned and on the way. A set of 17x9 +63 TRMotorsports C3s have been purchased, but I'll get the 255 tires for them come Spring. A custom tune to maximize the engine's potential will be happening in November.
Can't wait to get this off-season started!
