Bump Steer What Values Are Normal?
I finally got my suspension back on and now I am working on my bump steer. Using the Megan toe links and both included bushings for my -1.5" Ride height I was able to get a 0.038" toe out from (+)1" Compression to (-)4" of rebound or a total of 5" which I believe is a great number for the rear. Between (+)1" and (-)1" the change was only 0.025".
On the front end however it is a different story. After about 3 hours I could only get the values from (+)1" to (-)3 down to 0.145" of toe in. From (+)1 to (-1) the value was 0.08 and as I removed compression it went crazy after (-)2".
I know that the rear affects the handling much more than the front but this bump steer seem quite high. Is there anyone that has experience with the S2000 that can tell me if these are reasonable numbers?
