Just wanted to say that it was nice to meet some of the S2Ki West Coast contingent last Friday. Thanks go out to TwoHoos (for being my line guide) and to Doug (for a very high-speed tour).

Below's a photo that suggests I was dogging John in the Buttonhook in my MR2 Spyder rental. Sadly, it was just a touring lap...

Thanks for the kind words. I can't say that I'll follow your lead in terms of interior mods for my S, but it's impressive nonetheless!

As for your East coast events, I'll definitely give them some thought. I've plenty of frequent flier miles and rental cars aren't the worst of options for track time!

It's a very slippery slope, I admit, but I think I'll keep the dash (carpeting, passenger seat, door panels, etc. etc.) for now...
