Default Buttonwillow times?

I took the Elise out to the track for the first time on Monday. We ran Buttonwillow clockwise in configuration 1 with Star Mazda and the bus stop.

This was my first time in this car and the first time on this track. By the end of the day the car was turning 2:14-2:15 pretty consistently...even managed some 2:15 laps with a passenger. I felt like this was pretty quick considering i didn't really know the track or the car well. The fastest car of the day was a track prepped GT3 on Cups that hit a 2:06.

What kind of times do S2000's run in this configuration? The Elise felt considerably quicker than my S2k but i was hoping to get some concrete times.

Unless any Elise times are 'incredibly' fast, I don't think I'd know how fast the Elise really can be without someone like davepk trying it, though I would expect it genreally faster stock for stock.

You'd have to compare times in the car with the same driver or at least two drivers very close in skill levels. I would expect the Elise to be faster in stock form than a bone stock s2k as well.

i was on Yoko A048's which are the stock tires with the sport pack. I don't have the sport pack suspension though.

I am definitely not a pro driver. Plus, like i said it was my first time at Buttonwillow and my first track day in this car.

One thing i can say is that the Elise is VERY easy to drive and user friendly. It provides such great feedback and the steering is so precise it is definitely a good car to learn how to go fast in. I can also say that i've never had as much fun in a car.
