Default Carbotech XP10's

Well, I didn't properly store/mark my track pads last year. I've got two sets of front pads from Carbotech. Both have red markings on the backing plate, however, one set definitely puts out more of a red colored dust.

Can anyone tell me with certainty how "red"(or not) the pad material is on the XP10? I checked the website, but no pictures. I didn't realize that it was possible that I just installed the wrong set until I was looking for the rears.

Thanks,
Skip

None of my pads ever looked like that. I bought the one set in October of last year.

All the carbotech pads I've had have been similarly painted. Black for XP6. Silver for XP8. Dark Red for the set of Bobcat street pads I bought (but they had the wear indicator clips).

Seems like maybe Red/Orange is the color for XP10? (Are those pads really as orange as they look in the photo?

My rear XP8's are silver. I checked to make sure the boxes were marked correctly- and they were: XP8 for one and XP10 for the other. Unfortunately, I didn't place them back in their boxes. I'm going to call Carbotech tomorrow.
