If you dont find the performance to be weird, just keep running.
And if all the bolts are tight, then just keep running.

There isnt that many ways you can screw up installing a coilover I think. So...if it stays on there, then you are good to go.

Exactly.

Every thing fits/feels tight on my car, down to the exhaust, so I just live with it. Hasn't affected performance.

Nah, don't close it. If anybody ever figures out how to stop that damned noise, I want to know about it.

Thumbs up

I just got KW v3s and hope I don't have to deal with this noise. Hopefully HunterEZ chimes in with his experience. I know he tracks his KWs.

Quick question? Do you guys think installing aftermarket pillow upper mounts would help? Do they help at all?

its not that bad... seriously, just a faint noise that you wouldnt even notice if you wernt so anal about your car (like myself and most of the people on here are) its just different, thus alarming. I heard it the second track day on them, two years ago. Drove all around the pits listening to it, had someone else creep along while I walked next to the car listening.

check everything and it was fine. so whatever? who knows

Okay nevermind about closing. It might be a good reference to all of us. I'm just used to posting under For Sale section. haha

Yes, the clunking noise isn't bad, but if you are anal like me, it becomes louder and louder in your head.

I've had KW V3s on my car for almost 8,000 miles and I don't think I've ever heard of any clunk-like sounds, only the whoosh.

However, I'll try paying close attention to see if I hear any clunk-like sounds. Unfortunately, I no longer drive it on a daily basis -- the wifey does since I'm doing the daycare routine.

If the coilover doesnt fall off, why bother? Thats my opinion.

Just drive them and track with them and have fun.
