Default Clutch Choices

I smoked the syncros in my original early AP1 tranny and purchased a low mile replacement. Before doing the swap I was debating on changing the clutch out at the same time. I am currently running an ACT w/ Lightened steel flywheel with an OEM disc which is great on the street and most importantly it seems to be holding up very well over the last (2) seasons. For reference I am running NASA TTC with no real power mods.

Anyone have any suggestions on comments to this point?

Act disk #3000125
Act prolite flywheel
Mugen pressure plate

The disk is a solid hub with the standard act HD friction material and a marcel spring. It's a custom disk I had them make it for me and I loved it. I plan to run it again. Lighter weight too, easier on syncros. Act prolite flywheel is sfi approved and low inertia. My first s2k came equipped with a mugen pressure plate on a stock clutch and it was fantastic. Hands down my favorite clutch feel and I've been through quite a few in multiple cars.

FWIW I think it'll be a nice setup.

Interesting, is that something you ordered through ACT?

Yes, I called and discussed it with their tech department and they made it for me. They created a part number so it can be looked up and replicated in the future. I communicated with Mike Hallmark mhallmark@advancedclutch.com

I'm pretty sure I've found it a lot cheaper through Japanese websites even after shipping. Nengun is just one of them.

It would be nearly the same. $97 for fedex shipping, $15 for paypal/cc payment. So $465ish vs $468 + shipping from gotuning.
