You could remove reservoir from KW

If you enjoy auto-x, and increase frequency of attendance, then revisit suspension later. That's what I recommend.

I would recommend this, too. I've been tracking my '05 on stock suspension from 2005 to 2012 and it was fine. Put the money towards seat time and tires.

...but if you really feel the suspension will be a better investment at this point in time, I'd get the Ohlins.

I learned the hard way, put your money towards more track time for sure!

Nothing wrong with H&R, I believe its the Bilstein PSS.

You really need to be more specific with what you are looking to accomplish. You should be able to describe what you do not like about the car now. Also you need to determine if the OEM suspension is actually shot. That way you can establish a baseline. Stock shocks are actually pretty good. 50% of shocks coilovers for this car are actually of lower quality. You may be taking a step down if you are not careful.

one of the reasons I am looking into coilovers is for height adjustment to accommodate my wheels and tires setup. I guess you guys can say I'm not looking to go pro or hardcore track I just want good quality coils that will hug corners, ride like stock daily (but don't want stock struts). I do plan to attend autoX like maybe 2 times a month depending how often events are held in my area.

i had buddyclubs and started autox.
moved to kw clubsports because i hated, really hated buddyclub. made me feel like i was driving a piece of crap.
when the kw started leaking and i sent them off to get fixed i went back to stock. i was just as fast on the stock stuff.
Now i have AST 4150s i havent even put on and are for sale. They would be amazing for you with room to grow into them as they are monotube and single adjustable so you cant mess up your handling as much if you have no shock tuning experience. the only reason i am selling is to move into a much higher end shock, creme of the crop status

I don't think you need to spend KW/Ohlins money to get what you want.

H&R or Bilstein would both be fine choices. If you want single adjustable GC/Koni would be tough to beat for the price.
