Mine came in today - even worked from home to make sure I grabbed it as soon as it was delivered. Looks great - now to do the install in the driveway during the middle of winter. Good thing it's been mild so far (knock on wood)...
BTW, now that folks have 'em (especially those "HIGHLY competitive national level drivers") I'd like to hear experiences with the new bar. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated...
The season doesn't start until April around here...

Just got off the phone with (?) at Comptech. Their position was to use the factory endlinks and thay they'll hold up fine. Okaaayyyy ...after reading Annie's post I don't think I want to use the regular 3/8" rod ends I bought; for now I'll keep with the stock pieces until there's time to measure and ponder and make sure I'm building something appropriate. Should have the bar in for LS Monday.
An exhausting 15 week wait ended today. Baby's gonna spend some time on the jackstands tonight!

I don't know about "highly" competitive, but maybe if you're talking about TJ.
I don't have a whole lot to say about the Comptech bar as yet. Installation was easy as far as swaybars go. I'll be stocking up some extra endlinks until a)I figure out a better solution or b)somebody else (Comptech?) does.
I've only run the bar at one event and that was on street tires as it was expected to rain. Of course, the group I ran in was dry. I had the bar on the 4th position (one short of full stiff) and the car was pushy in tighter corners, but not unmanageably so. Pretty much what I'd expect with the skinny front tires; overcook corner entry and you get to wait until the front end is on line again.
However, the 4th position with street tires was way too stiff when it started raining later. I had to park the car on corner entry to get the car to turn and then it would go to instant oversteer when I got on the gas. I softened the bar up later to the "2" position and it was much better, though still on the understeer side in the wet. Transition from push to slide was better, though still pretty pronounced. Rzrsedg was still much faster on the stock bar and tires with more tread.
Changing the position of the bolt was possible from above, but only while scraping up skinny arms like mine. Getting to the "4" and "5" positions is kind of a bear with the radiator hose on that side.
I have absolutely no feedback on the bar yet. Up until the past couple of days it's been raining around here. We'll see at Laguna on Monday.
I believe Banannie was refering to Mr. McKee aka S2K2fast4me as the person who was single-handedly responsible for keeping the S2000 classed where it is for 2002 in SCCA Solo II.
Tee hee! Talk about people when they aren't watching and all of a sudden they show up! When I talked with Mike from Comptech he'd mentioned that it was Derek and Andy that had received the first bars so now everyone knows...
And Andy, you know darn well you are HIGHLY competitive (as is Derek and others on this board) you just keep managing to fly below the radar and swoop in when no one is expecting - like in the case of Sports Car and their pics for the Nationals winners. You getting a lot of use out of that "Sports Car was WRONG" shirt yet??
Hey, if you guys need any "help" with your autocross setups (when its sunny and warm down there of course), I'm sure I could arrange a time to fly down and "assist"... It's DANG COLD here (being wet in Seattle is so typical it's not worth mentioning...)
Yep, I'm planning to spend some time testing with the db meter tomorrow.
Right now I'm letting the (stock) exhaust cool off after a drive around the block with the new sway bar. Install was pretty straighforward; bar ends lined up with the stock pieces perfectly.

And I think I found out why my car's been so peppy lately. Found this lodged up in a splash shield:
