is there a way to tell the difference between a 1st generation comptech sway bar and a 2nd generation one? thanks

 

The first gen has sleeves in the holes of the inner bar. My bolt got corroded into place with that setup. The 2nd gen bar has only holes on both bars and uses external "saddle" washers for the bolt. There's also a difference in bar size but I forget what it is - might be that the inner bar is thicker.

Edit: I looked up an old post of mine and it's the inner bar that is thicker. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the thicknesses to compare...
