Default control arm upgrade

So I hear tell that you can swap suspension arms from an AP2 to an AP1. Anyone done it? Anyone know if all the arms from an AP2 transfer to an AP1?

Why would you do that? Anything special about the Ap2 arms?

The geometry was changed according to Spoon. And the new arms help with the dive squatting under hard breaking. Spoon sells an entire set of arms but its $2500 yuck!

Was the geometry changed in the arms or was it the mounting points?

In a BMI video a representative from Spoon shows up and says that the geometry in the arms was changed. Spoon actually offers a kit, (A&J's racing sells it) front and rear control arms for the AP1. The kit is $2500. pretty darn steep IMO. I'm going to get my hands on the arms and see if they fit and see if they actually help the nose diving. Its hard for me to tell honestly, I feel the S2k's stock suspension has a lot of body roll.

im not familiar with the spoon parts, but i hope your not gonna spend $2500 on control arms because of nose diving... the car has some body roll, but its best controlled with higher spring rate and shocks... you can buy great coilovers cheaper than $2500 and get a lot more than just controling nose diving...
