Default corner balanced yesterday ?

Ok so i finally got a set of scales to corner weight my car and after about 3 hours its almost a perfect 25% on each wheel . Just had a few questions after the balancing was complete the cars front right is higher than the rest of the car by about 1/4 inch maybe a little less and the rear right is just a bit higher also . Is this normal ? The car feels fine I was just wondering if this was normal. As i was adjusting i noticed a trend that the ride height was getting higher and i ws getting closer to perefect balance . Any hellp or input on this would be great . My mods are megan track coliovers and a saner fsb , sway bar disconected during balancing.

I'm pretty sure most cars unless you add balast to them will have corner(s) higher than the other, it's just the way it works.

Hope you simulated your weight in the driver's seat.

if you take more time on CW, one corner shouldn't sit much higher.

proper way to add weight, is to do all 4 corners. raise diagonal corners, while lower the other 2 corners equal amounts. some mechanic cheats, and do 2 diagonal corners only.

did you corner weight AGAIN after you hooked back your sway bars ? you definitely should, that's what end links are for.

The car should be cornerweighted with you in the car and the front and rear sways disconnected.

What you are looking for is a 50% cross weight. Yes the ride heights will be slightly different on each corner.

Once this is done you can set the car down as it is on the scales with you in the drivers seat again. Now adjust your sway end links so they slip right into the sway bar holes with out any tension on the bars, torque and you are done. If you connect the sways with the car up in the air then when you lower it the sway bars will be preloaded and your corner weights will change.

Don't forget, anytime you cornerweight and change ride heights this will change your alignment. Be sure to get the car aligned.

Hope this helps
Mark

Does alignment settings change if you just change out the front sway bar?

On an AP2 1/8 toe in on the rear works well for street and track. It keeps the rear end a little more tame. If you want more oversteer you can use less.
