PM me a price for now!
The only reason Im going to these is my KWs cant handle higher rates. But KWs can handle 10-12k and cost significantly less. Mike does want to test lower rates but I think in the 13-15k range and maybe try staggered. He would have to answer that though. Ill PM you right now.

I think if I got these I'd be trying something like 16/14k or 15/13k

FWIW -- I ran KW with 12/10 springs prior to switching to these. The car is actually MORE comfortable with these and 16/16 springs (which includes changing from oem top hats with KW to the solid Tein mounts). And that includes leaving both at their "track" settings (since I am usually too lazy to change to a "street" setting before leaving the track).

PLEASE do not misread that as saying they are Cadillac-plush comfortable! But if you are not satisfied with the stock KW spring rates, these are a better choice from a comfort (as well as a performance) perspective than slapping higher spring rates on KWs (imo).

Just my 2 cents, depending on what people's reasons are for wanting lower spring rates.

What does anyone with experience with this kit think about using the stock upper mounts? My car sees track and autocross duty and I want to keep it STR legal.

You don't have to have stock upper mounts for STR

I was reading that you're not allowed to replace suspension bushings with spherical bearings, but looking back at the rules, it looks like they make an exception for camber plates:

adjustable camber plate attachment to the strut.

While it's not *confirmed*, I'll eventually get around to testing 14.4k spring rates, to make sure the spring is within the damping range of the CSG SRCs.

Updates will be a bit slow, as my S2k is being sold to pay for some other expenses that came up, and the testing will be done on borrowed cars.

Since these all start as off the shelf SRCs that get shipped to TEIN USA, will there be an option to just get the CSG spec revalve for people that already have the standard SRCs?

To clarify, for the GB, these would be built to spec by Tein Japan. Individual orders start as a regular SRC, and are revalved to CSG spec. That's why the GB price is so much lower.

It's not cheap, but it can be arranged. Labor + parts + shipping both ways.

Oh that makes more sense. I was under the impression that they all would be shipped here and then undergo the revalve.
