Default Custom Racing Wheels

I figured you guys would be the best to ask. My F20C Miata project is ongoing and it's time to buy some wheels for it. I'll be using the fender flares from the Japan
'N2" series which adds a considerable amount of width to the car. What I need is a set of 16"x9" wheels with 0 offset and a 4x100 lug spacing that are suitable for the track.

Any suggestions? CCW does not do 16" AFAIK, and I'm having a hell of a time with the one Panasport distributor I found. I'd really like to avoid custom wheels from Japan due to time/rarity issues.

Thanks for the help!

I had a set of 16x9.5" wheels from CCW on a Miata...

That being said if they no longer do them, Kodiak Motorsports does them in 16" as well, any offset and any bolt pattern.

Stay away from Kodiak. You might want to see if Bogart can do what you're asking for.

What is wrong with Kodiak? I've bought about 6 sets of wheels from them over the years. They tend to screw up from time to time, but they have always made it right.

They were great on my Dad's TR6 back in the '80s.

FWIW I called Tire Rack and they have nothing. The Kosei K1 came in 16x8.5 4x100 +17 at one point but even that is discontinued 8(

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like the F20 in the Miata?

What did it do to your weight distribution. IIRC the Honda engine and tranny is about 50 lbs lighter than the Miata with the weight centered more due to a heavier tranny in the Honda.

Did you have to change the diff?

You can PM me if you'd rather not dilute this thread or if it is posted elsewhere just tell me where to look
