Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like the F20 in the Miata?
What did it do to your weight distribution. IIRC the Honda engine and tranny is about 50 lbs lighter than the Miata with the weight centered more due to a heavier tranny in the Honda.
Did you have to change the diff?
You can PM me if you'd rather not dilute this thread or if it is posted elsewhere just tell me where to look

The car is a bit farther along than the pics show (only because BSI Racing is 5 hours North of me). The engine is in and they are currently modifying the powerplant frame to work with the S2000 transmission and transplanting a 4.3 Torsen Miata rear end. The custom driveshaft should be done this week.
Thanx for the link.
I have a spare engine I have been trying to figure out what to do with it and I have a 99 Miata. I had seen pics of another one and they'd used the stock cluster and ecu as well. It seems like a sweet swap.
Obviously you will use it on the track but you ought to think long and hard before you start futzing with aftermarket ecus and tuning. As is it is near bulletproof which makes for a lot of cheap, fun racing.
The Ultralites use stock ecus cause they work so well. Almost all the ones that have gone aftermarket have had issues.
