Data logging displays
I am considering getting a Racepak IQ3 or Aim MXL Pista (leaning toward the strada since I have AEM) but I haven't found if they will display actual miles. I know that they can be set to keep track of miles driven since the switch, but can they be preprogrammed to start at the number of miles my car already has? I like the options they provide and the idea of preprogramming the alarm lights and shift lights along with all the channels hat can be monitored, but I am not sure I want to totally kill the resale value of te car by one day trying to sell it with "approx. xxxxx miles." and no way to prove it.
AFAIK, that function *specifically* does not exist, but you can permanently log and just add up the distance traveled from the logs.
If you're tracking, the ODO wouldn't be 100% accurate anyways, especially if you're driving with any sort of slip angle or spin the wheels. Speedo (and thus odo) errors of over 7-8% aren't uncommon, especially under WOT cornering.
No gauge cluster in the car?

Its more for the resale value than anything else. Right now I am running AEM serial gauges, but I would like to have a programmable display for things like higher redline, the shift lights being able to be set, lap time displayed, but it will be hard to sell a car with "unknown" miles, or a track only car down the road. Guess a programmable display is one of those modifications where you someone limit the crowd that might buy the car. I'm just not sure I want to move from a "fun street car/weekend warrior" to "track car" quite yet.
I was under the impression that they replaced the stock cluster and sat back in the dash cowl like the oem dash would. Admittedly, I never asked, just assumed it was a replacement.
