Has anyone used a GoPro Hero HD camera with the Modify mount and have any issues?

I'm thinking about going with this setup before going to Gingerman (and the Dragon in April).. Was curious about this setup.

Thanks
I think a few of my friends have used that setup, get the low profile mount http://www.modifry.com/products/mounts/camera/ws-lp.htm

The shorter one is just less likely to shake and the field of view is still fine.

this thread rocks, i blue tape my phone to the wind deflector and my only gripe was slight vibration noise, weatherstripping / a rag should fix this.

I put four of those little round rubber bumpers (feet) under the compartment hatch to stabilize it. I think they are about 1/4 inch diameter and can be found at Home Depot, Lowes, and most hardware stores.

For those of you with roll bars with a harness bar, here is a very cheap and pretty good solution:
I followed his instructions and added some thin foam between the PVC and the bar (wrapped it around the bar so the PVC and clamps wouldn't mar the paint).

Here's an example in-car with my new mount. The camera is a relatively heavy P&S with a poor mounting system (plastic threads, completely off to one side of the camera). I imagine it will look even more stable when I drop in my Contour 1080 next year.

I was pretty happy with the windshield mount I was using before this, but I was starting to get concerned about using it on track since it has no positive attachment and so could become a liability (aka flying projectile) in an impact.

This is what the GoPro HD looks and sounds like on the normal height Modifry mount. This was the first weekend I got to try this video setup. The GoPro has the open back, as recommended for better sound under 100 MPH - the sound still sucks due to wind noise though. I might try engulfing the GoPro case in fur to see if that helps.
