My piggyback isn't going to be on and tuned before this event, but any early of the year seat time is a good thing with me. Plus, I have no idea were to begin with the initial settings with my Moton shocks. Going to be a fun weekend anyway!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is flying by the seat of my pants. I just installed the offset front ball joints on the car and got it alighned. I'll have a few runs on the car, but it's on a small lot, dunno how much I'll learn. First run should be interesting.

Sounds like everyone will be in shakedown mode. It is going to be fun either way. Everyone should be required to put their S2ki userid on their cars!

Mine will be the slow one. My co-driver will also probably end up backwards at some point at well... He calls it "warming the tires"

Mine is missing paint on the right rear bumper where a possum shot out the back.

Hey, it worked for you this weekend!

Does anyone know what happened to the Grassroots Motorsports guys and their Miata? Did they throw in the towel after nationals last year?

IIRC, they had to give the car back to Mazda or buy it. I sure hated to see it drop out of STR as I frequently used them as a barometer as to how well I was improving from event to event.

Yep, they pretty much maxed out that car and that was it, they did run pretty fast and I wish they were in it for another year as well. Talking with them last summer I also remember hearing the car was going back to Mazda and they were looking toward a new project car. John even mentioned an STR S2000 project as a possibility.
