Darrin DiSimo simply put is an excellent driver, friendly competitor. There are few who could beat him no matter what he drives. Most here agree he could would win the class driving in any of the STR cars. The car is his old NB Miata with all the basic necessities. The Miatas just don't need as much tuning as the S2000 to go fast on street tires. The course favors small cars as well. There is absolutely no room put down power or available grip, especially in first heat for B-Stock. I very surprised the S2000s are even close in STR. I got the chance to drive the highest finishing S2000 in STR for day 1 during the practice runs. It has a lot of room for improvement and difficult to keep straight. It is much more powerful than the B-Stock CRs with a ton of available turn in, but needs more forgiveness in the rear.

yea I bet a s2k cr with more power and less tire would be a hand fun. I would say the miatas are alot easier to drive "right" then a s2k. Good luck on day two marc. You a jadrice are gonna have a entertaining day on day 2!

Team CMM (Changed Mon Motorsport) finished 1st and 2nd in a tough BS class. Marc Pfannenschmidt drove brilliantly on both days to take the top spot, and I finished 2nd by .103. Fellow teammates Mark Baruth and Stewart Kestenbaum also had very strong showing in both CRs, finishing in 6th and 8th. Both cars were damn amazing, even in a non ideal run heat.

Matt, just letting you know that I have a set of JDM BBS wheels available for sale, with 245 Hoosier A6 Rubber. Great condition. I saw your post in the R&C for sale thread and tried to send you a PM but looks like your mailbox is full. Shoot me a PM and we'll talk!

And congrats on a very strong showing in Dixie! Great driving no doubt.
