Does Anyone Use Spring Rubbers?
Spring rubbers are a common way to make quick spring rate changes. They are widely used in long NASCAR races where a car may start with spring rubbers and pull them (quicker than putting them in) as the track and temperature changes during the race.

There are explicitly allowed in the STR rules (14.8.A "Coil springs may incorporate spring rubbers. ") but I can't find a single mention of them here. Presumably they would be useful at both autocrosses and race tracks. The rubbers come in a variety of stiffness and more than one can be used. They are available from nearly all the oval track suppliers:
Is anyone using them?
Note, they can be tie wrapped to the spring and often another tie wrap is added to make it easier to pull out.

Never heard of them before. Could be used in lieu of an adjustable sway bar to make small balance changes, right?
Funny, my first thought was to use them as load levelers when I haul firewood or tow with my Accord. Could also be used as a temporary lift kit next time I take it off-roading in Death Valley. Yes, these are all things I have done with my Accord.
