is this a bad idea? it has a picture of the thing on a fairly convincing looking racecar

Used that on my car but i never took it to the track to see how well it performs.
also the bottom base is flat so it wont sit flush with the s2000 trunk. it does come with a pretty thick foam tape that will fill in the gaps.

Careful on Ebay wings. They can either be alright or pretty bad. Stinkytofu used to use one and said it wasn't quite effective. He said it wasn't very rigid and it probably produced quite a bit of drag. I'd say spend your money on a gtc-200 if you want an effective wing with proven data to back it up.
Those are RE Amemiya replica wings (not so well copied), I examined one in a warehouse here in socal, wing and brackets are very very heavy compared to my gtc200, height is at around the conv. top.
I'll never use this wing on the track, best to save up $100 more and get a used gtc200, plus risers for more effects.
