Yes, 5W30. I tried 5W40 and had no benefit from doing so.

Rotella T6 full synthetic 5w40 ($21 for a gallon at Walmart - i know, i'm cheap). I change every 4500 miles. I haven't done any UOA. I'm gonna take it out to 5K miles this time and do a UOA with blackstone.

I switched from Mobil 1 5w30 to our (Edelbrock) Cat Safe 5w30 and went from using a quart of oil every 1000 miles to using barely any at all. I don't DD mine, and change all the fluids every 3rd track day.

im going to try brad penn next, i have been running castrol full syn 10w30 change every 2500miles. im s/c ed and autox

Internet search is your friend. Found it on summitracing.com in less time it took me to type this for $8.95 a quart...

Broke in my 2.5 with Rottela t and plan on running the motul 5w 40 synth after 500 miles or so. OEM filter or wix premium will do.
