I was there this weekend. Heard some people say that he wasn't driving the course too well prior to that ("he was all over the track"). It was mid-day Saturday, so he should have been pretty familiar with the turn by then. Apparently, he's a CEO type who flew out and rented the car he was in. What a tragic way to end what should have been a very fun trip.

Even more embarrassing, I didn't even drive my car up there.

Hubby has a new Boxster S that he wanted to break in. It was kind of a last-minute deal as he's good buddies with some of those NASA guys. I didn't want to pay the $$ myself.

I just signed up for SV at Buttonwillow on Nov. 7.
