Default First Track Day

Hey everyone,

I've got my hard dog roll bar in and am putting my seats/harnesses in this weekend. I think I'm going to go to Englishtown, NJ for my first track day at the end of this month. Only $225 for whole day plus first timer school. I've autocrossed for a while but haven't done track yet. Has anyone done the Englishtown road course? If so, what did you think?

I did 2 days over the summer there and i had a great time. It's a good track to pop your cherry on. Just pay attention to your instructor learn the line and mingle with people in between sessions and you'll have a great time.

Great, thanks for the advice guys. I'm glad to hear it's a fun track, I've got relatives 5minutes from there so I'll be there a lot next year.

i ran my car there 2 weeks ago. it was a free track day. i got about 5 runs in. Awesome track, so much fun. I think the track is perfect for the s2000, a lot of turns. With good coilovers and tires it should be a great time!

Well no coilovers yet (I will pick some up over the winter, or as soon as I see a good deal) but I've got some tread left on my REO1R's. Great street tire for autocross but I don't intend to run them next year so might as well use what's left on a track day :-)

I might join in on the fun. I'm itching to get back on the track.

Does anyone have photos or videos of the track layout? I cant seem to find any. Or the ones I do find, are for the old configuration.

Having run the road course at E-Town (I've got in-car video up on youtube from the opening day) I have to say it's a pretty fun course for the S2000 -- fairly tight. Great price for the day, too.
