Default First Track Day - Fluids?

hey guys, i'm going to be tracking the car for the first time in a few weeks, and i'm purchasing a bunch of stuff, e.g. new brake pads/rotors, etc...

i'm also interested in changing out the fluids, but not sure about what should be used for transmission/diff/clutch for track usage... i didn't see any info in the FAQ regarding fluids, so i was wondering if i could get some help/guidance... thanks

Brake Fluid - ATE Blue
Transmission - ? Redline? Honda MTF? Almasol? AC Delco/GM Synchromesh?
Diff - ?
Clutch - ?

I do not want to hijack OP's thread but I also don't want to create a thread with similar topic. I'll also be attending my HDPE in few weeks. I'll be changing my transmission with Honda MTF and Diff with mobil one. But I recently I bought Hawk HPS pads and I read the review recently that they are really bad on the track should I need better pad for this event or can I go through this event with HPS pads and buy better pads for next season?
thanks in advance

I'm no expert but I would upgrade the brake fluid to the ATE and make sure your pads are good. It doesn't hurt to bring a second set.

I just tracked with Hawk HPS last week, they were fine for your first time out. I personally like the OEM pads better though.

driftintherain - i just bought a set of carbotech xp8's which seem to be highly regarded, and will be using ATE Blue...

there's plenty of good info about brake fluid, but i can't seem to understand what we need to look for in regards to other fluids -- maybe it's not as imperative? probably could be a good add to the FAQ as well...

Here's what I use:
Brakes - Motul RBG600
Tranny - Honda MTF
Diff - Mobil 1
Clutch - whatever extra brake fluid I have (doesnt have to be Motul)

I would only use synchromesh if you have gear grind problems

according to mr. spoon ( too lazy to look up his name) the most important thing before a race is to change the tranny fluid.

The one time I tracked HPS pads, I got abysmal braking after about one lap! After 3 ~15minute sessions of the WORST braking performance I've ever experienced (soft soft pedal, had to downshift early and use engine braking!), the pads were GONE. I had thought it was a fluid issue, but bleeding did not help. Then I put the stock pads back in and got infinitely better braking! And the stock pads are NOT good track pads.

In my brake pad experience with the S:
XP8 > HP+ >>> stock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>> HPS
