Fluid change frequency?

Curious for those that have back to back or closely together days of track days, do you change your fluids per trackday or? Just curious what most are doing. This is assuming you are not daily driving the car, and at most just drive to and from the track at most. I did my last trackday on labor day with fresh fluids, and have another one coming up this sat. Checked the oil, color still nice and new and wasn't burning any oil, so i'd recon still good to go, but just curious what folks are doing..

I daily drive my S2000 about 110 miles daily, and I do track it about every other month or so. Maybe sometimes 3 months in between. I do brake flush every 3 track days or so, and regardless of mileage, I do fresh engine oil change day or 2 before a track day. I usually do tranny fluid and diff every 15k miles.

If it were me, and I just did fluids last month (Labor day) I would not change anything out. But thats just me. I know some local guys that do fresh brake bleed before track days, but I personally havent had any fade issues doing it the way I do.

I know that the last time one of these threads came up there were several that do everything every track day. I only put 1000 miles per year, maybe 2000 on a good year. I try to do everything once a year at the beginning of the season. Brakes, trans, diff. I think more often than that is excessive... I guess I do have an aftermarket radiator and not seeing super high temps, so seems fine to run it the 5 or so auto x events I do and one hpde. I would maybe say to do oil every couple events if you're stock. The trans and diff aren't going to shear in a few events and brake fluid should be plenty fine for a couple years realistically. Just my opinion though...

I'm a 3 events guy for oil + filter.

Bleed brakes before every event and sometimes after if i feel like there is too much play for the street. In most cases i would use a 1/4 of a bottle for a bleed. By the time the year is done i would of 'flushed' the whole thing.

Diff + Trans = yearly

After a bunch of oil analysis I change my oil every 3 trackdays (4 to 5 20 minute sessions for a day). I use rotella t6 oil.

Tranny and diff every 5 trackdays. Seems like the tranny grinds if I go much further.

Brake fluid once year. I really don't bleed them very often either. Doesn't seem to be an issue.

Track only. Change everything once a year...6-7 events.

Oil analysis is very helpful especially in abusive driving. Lubricants and hydraulic fluids are inexpensive compared to racing tires!

You change your oil on your track-only car every 6-7 track days? Are you shitting me?

I stand corrected. Contrary to my post in that thread where I stated that my diff and trans are changed every December, I checked my logs and it’s only the diff. Coming up on 3.5 years and 108 days for the trans fluid. Still shifts fine but I’ll change it just to be safe.
