At 40 degrees you may be ok but during the summer I ran through the xp10s very quickly.
I usually overheat at either the front or back straight and have to scrub off more speed in the turn than I like. If you exit onto the back/front straight correctly you can break 100mph with about 40mph to drop quickly and such a short track it is hard on the brakes.
What kind of times were you putting down?

That's good to hear 100 mph is a marker of speed on the back straight, as I was just crossing into that before having to break. That said, there's more there, I just couldn't gather more nerve through one. It was quick with the old clockwise layout, and this new counter direction is equally as fast.
What front pads do you plan on running there next go around? 12s?
I think we were doing 1:04's - 05's in the One Lap this year. But it was RAINING and COLD and those were street tires. Coming down the back stretch into the final turn it was near the top of 4th IIRC which in that car was 120ish. Fun Little track. Due to the crappy weather I never pulled the lap data off the traqmate.

No one bothered keeping time, since we were either trying to stay warm or dry. It was nasty weather for an event... I'd love to go back and see what I could lay down with tires getting up to proper temps and dryer conditions.

3:22 total time over 3 lap time from a standing start in the pouring rain. First lap was 5 seconds slower due to being a standing start in the wet. So 22-5 is 17, 17/3 is 5.6 so an average of a 1:05.6 but IIRC from the track mate it was like a 1:06.1 and a 1:04.9 ish. Michelin pilot PS2's. Keep in mind you get one out lap as your "WARM UP" lap so this was essentially going out blind so you learn it every lap and go faster. I hadn't been their since the repaving. Pretty neat taking a AWD car down in a 2wd car in the wet. HEHE.

Still some room left in each class. We'll have the official AMB transponder timing as well as a few loaner Traqmate's with video that we can put in the fast cars
There may even be some instruction available throughout the weekend.
