Dang and I already bought my Wedsports. I imagine the issue with the spoon and the ap is the 300mm rotor, and the fact that the caliper is not pushed out as far. So are you concerned about torquing the lugs properly?

LOL!!! yes...

He can actually trim the wheel and go with an even HIGHER offset. Essentially, the way i see that data is that based on his +55 offset wheel, he'll need a 3mm spacer for both the Spoon and AP caliper.

The ST40 caliper will clear no problem on a +55 wheel, and will have 4mm of clearance with a +60 wheel. The caliper doesn't make contact with the wheel until you go with a +64 offset or higher wheel.

I could totally be off and wrong with how i'm seeing that, though.

Assuming I get a tax refund and not the opposite, I know where I'm spending that money.

No. From what I understand, you could get the wheel in 17x10 +64 and still clear the Stoptech brakes. However, due to the high offset, when you turn the wheel to a full lock position, the wheel will hit something, like control arm. If you run a +55 like him you should be able to fit with minimal fender modding, clear the stoptech caliper by 8-11mm, and possibly not rub anything when turning the wheel to a full lock.

Hey that's the nice thing with Forgestars, they're just made to order, so everyone can get whatever they want. Powder coat in any color as well.

Not to shill or anything, but I just want to give credit where it's due--if you guys want to order a set, shoot Jurrian an email at Modbargains: jurrian@modbargains.com

Are these really powder coated? I didn't think you wanted to use powder coated wheels on the track. At least that's what I took from the 949 thread. That's why they were painted and not powder coated.
