Speaking of exhaust, Finger Lakes Region SCCA uses a 95dB limit. It's also an issue that loud does not necessarily mean more power. Reducing backpressure too much can cause a power reduction. The point is to 1) view engine management as a *SYSTEM* (i.e. don't just throw parts on and expect that they'll all work harmoniously) and 2) not everyone thinks loud is cool. The exact frequencies and harmonics make a world of difference as to whether it's obnoxious (Neons with straight-through pipes spring to mind immediately) or actually cool...

Assuming I start with everything stock, what front end settings do you recommend? I have a 2002. One person has already given me some recommended settings. I am just wondering what other people have used on a stock car.

There are lotsa threads about this, including a big one in the Under The Hood area (at the top). Suffice it to say that it depends on what you're after. Truly serious autocrossers will want negative 1.50-1.75 degrees camber front and negative 2.25-2.50 degrees camber in the rear. Stock caster is fine, 0 toe in the front and (generally) a small amount (.25', plus or minus, total rear toe in) but this usually implies a large front bar and R tires in the 225/245 sizes. So much of this depends on the rest of the setup that you need to determine exactly what you're gonna run and go from there.

I use the car as my daily driver and want some street tire life, too, so I run -1.0 front camber and -2.0 rear, trading grip for wear...
