Default Looking for Cape Cod hotel recommendations

My wife and I are looking for a hotel recommendation on Cape Cod for this summer. It is our 20th wedding anniversary and we are looking to go a couple nights minus the kids. I would love to keep the cost to around $300 a night. (probably not reasonable) We just want to be able to relax on the beach and maybe do some sightseeing and shopping. One place we are considering is the Top Mast resort in Brewster.Anybody got any other suggestions? Your help is appreciated.

You could check out the Chatham Bars Inn. I stayed there a LONG time ago but it was nice - for a couple, not a family.

Whatever you do, absolutely avoid this place...one of the 3 worst places we've ever stayed. Looks like it opened in 1965 and hasn't been cleaned since! Seashore Park Inn at eh Eastham Rotary.

We've had a drink at the Chatham Bar Inn and the ammenities look excellent.
