Anyone out there picked up Forza 4 for the Xbox? I'm hopelessly addicted to Rivals Mode, where you try to beat a lap time set by one of your friends on either a race track or an autocross. If you beat them, they get notified, and the cycle begins again when they come back to try to beat your time.

Right now the list of people I know playing in Rivals Mode is relatively small, so if you're playing and want an additional target, feel free to add me to your Xbox Live friends list. My gamertag is Disintegration, and in real life (so you know who you're beating) I'm Stephen Hui, an ok autocrosser and a terrible road racer.

I think this is a good idea, rivals mode is great but it would be so much more fun playing against "real" racers...

Btw I was really happy to see they added the AP2 bumpers as options on the s2ks now. The first 3 never had them.

 

Funny... I just picked it up about 10 mins ago.

Yesterday a steering wheel stand for my G27 got delivered, and liked it enough that I will be ordering one for the 360 wheel, too. I hope that it makes it more convenient that I will be playing it more.

I am rabid7622 on live and spend way to much time on FM4. I have been enjoying the autocross mode in rivals as well. I think I am currently 10th on one and 25th on another.

If you guys want I can send you an invite to the AZ region SCCA group so we can easily race against each other/compare times etc...

Yeah I'm really glad they put the bumpers in. I was disappointed when I realized they didn't put the Ap2 in the game, but hey, the bumpers are the next best thing.

Friendly, optional request -- it would be great if people could, in addition to sharing their gamertags, describe themselves a bit in this thread and/or in their Xbox Live player bios. I at least find it more fulfilling when I know who I'm battling, especially if I've raced them in real life; racing random people who I know nothing about and who I've never heard of before this thread isn't any more fulfilling than racing random people on Xbox Live.
