Default FRONT:?, REAR: XP10

So first I use the car for aggressive street and canyon use and want a pad that is aggressive but can be used on the streets. I drive the car almost daily.

I had XP10 front and rear but they did Not last long and chewed threw my rotors.... I dont think I was in their optimum temp range. I am considering selling my brand new rear XP10 but would like some input! I liked the performance of the XP10 alot, no fade, but the cost of new pads and front rotor rings every 6 months is crazy!!!!!! (a little exaggerated) And they DUSTTTTTT!
What pads (FRONT,REAR) would you recommend for me.

In order of importance:
1. Fade resistance (exces of 1000* would be nice)
2. Lower dust then XP10 (MUST BE EASY ON PAINT AND WHEELS)

Ferodo DS2500, Carbotech ax6, XP8, EBC Yellow, Stoptech...........was thinking of these options (in this order)! ?????????????????????

Race pads are gonna dust man...that's just the nature of the beast. If you're not tracking the car, you might want to look at actual street pads. Ferodo is going to be corrosive. If you want low dust and good rotor life, look at the EBC redstuff pads or if you need a little more bite (and a little more dust) bluestuff might be your ticket. If you're not in the XP10s heat range why do you think you need 1000* pads? Anything above 300 and the XP10s bite great.

I might be in the market for those XP10s btw

Stoptech pads should get the job done if all you do is street.

Who else thinks Stoptechs will get the job done??? From what I have heard they are kind of mediocre.

I do some small go-cart tracks from time to time and I have gotten my front and rears smoking up in the canyons so im not super easy on brakes. Im also a part of Just Drive Socal, wich is a group that does long canyon drives, lots of GTRs, Ferraris, kit cars, evos, a McLarren.... so a quality pad is needed for these trips when im really using the brakes.

EBC red stuff????? isnt yellow better???

Sounds like you have lots of experience. Just go with what pad you think is best for your rare situation of running go kart tracks and canyons with really fast cars. I will revise my suggestion to something not on your list which would be the new Hawk Street Race pad compound.

It really sounds like you need two sets of pads. One for normal street driving when you dont want to have a lot of dust and corrosion, and then a set of high performance pads (not carbotech since they're so sensitive to the transfer layer) for when you do canyon runs. Like I said, the more performance you have the more dust you're going to have.

You have a bigger issue because it sounds like your front caliper is binding on one side, which will naturally create excessive dust, wear your rotors, and burn through your pads. I think the calipers need to be inspected. Are you running a stock caliper in the rear?

Yes stock rear calipers and they don't wear evenly either... I took them apart cleaned and greased the slide pins so we will see what happens
