Guys, he is talking about a splitter, not a lip. APR makes an 04+ lip and 00-08 splitter.

Can you post a picture of what it is doing to the bumper? You say it is craking the bumper? I do think that a strap on the inside of the bumper, mounted to the frame rails will reduses the stress on on the bumper and provide additional support for the splitter.

Yeah I will try to get some. I got the aluminum I am going to use so I will post that picture installed too. Should have it done before the end of the day

I think that is more of flex fractures in the paint then cracks in the bumper it'self. I like that way that it worked out. I will have to keep it in mind for my car. That is on my list of mods for the track car.

Yeah it was the paint that was cracking but the actual plastic was like pulling towards the front splitter. Its is hard to explain but hopefully this method works out. Thanks for the idea.

I know, and I cant find a pic of the apr ap1 splitter...

but hes got the other bumper anyway... nevermind.
