Default Bumper Crack = help

'''not sure if this is in the right topic''''

When I removed my bumper today I saw a little crack in my bumper. I am not sure if I made it or if it was already there.

The slit is underneath the bumper, where the bolts that hold the bumper to the plastic are. It is about 1 inch long. It doesn't go up on the bumper so you can't see it unleast you lie down.

Will the slit become longer ????
What to do ?

Thank you

the crack is betwen bolt number 14 and 15 on the figure 3 :

The long term solution would be to replace or repair the crack. If you can live with it just drill a small hole at the end of the crack, this will prevent the crack from enlarging.

Well I can surely live with it ... it dosen't show.

So I drill a hole ?

Do i drill it a little in front (leaving lets say 1-2 mm between the crack and the hole ? or do i drill a the end of the crack ?

thanks for your help !

Right at the end of the crack and the hole only needs to be slightly larger than the crack.

Good luck!
