Default Fuel pick up problem

Just wondering if any of you guys have had fuel pick up problems that you have managed to fix other then 1. running a full tank of gas or 2. installing a fuel cell.

3. install an external or internal fuel surge tank... not a simple mod either.

Basically fuel sloshes in the tank, and when level is low your pump may pick up air.

Most common solutions are 1. 2. and 3. Anyone else know another?

thanks, I found a good deal on a new used fuel cell but then just found out it's going to cost about 1000.00 to install. Hard call on what to do, 1500 on a fuel cell or 500 on a possible fix?? I know everybody told me racing's not cheap but man.........

I put on an additional external fuel pump that sucks fuel from the right side of the tank and fills up the bowl.

Fuel starvation -> Lean -> Deto
bad scenario - specially if you're FI

Better run with enough fuel.

Anyone know if the returnless fuel rail on the 06+ cars deal with (short) periods of fuel starvation better?

During the Time Attack session (3 laps), I started with 3 bars of gas. The gas light came on during the first lap, and by the end of the hot lap, I had 1 bar (which disappeared on my way out from the track....).

I didn't experience any power loss, at least, none that I noticed, even during the bowl turn @ Streets of Willow.
