I THINK these are correct. From my notes a while back. This could be the dimensions of the space too. So don't quote me.

Ok great, maybe with a bit of cutting I could get a 60 litre ATL saver cell tank in the space.

Is that from experience? Did it require much modding and did it fit with the aluminium box they make?

I'm doing this to get rid of fuel surge, if I can't be bothered to put a new tank in I might try and fit one of these in the stock tank and just machine a new tank top to mount connections and fuel level sender.

They are all a completely custom installation by an experienced fabricator. I know of guys who've done the 22gal and it slots right into the frame rails. I think that is a 25" width from ATL. The smaller tank you are talking about should be no problem space wise.

Fuel cells are a few thousand bucks beyond the cost of the box and bladder to install. think $4K+ total labor/parts. And then you'll need to buy an internal surge tank for it if you want to pick up the last few gallons with full fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

I'm going through this right now. If you just want to run the tank to empty, install an ATL external swirl pot on the OEM fuel tank for $1K. Save yourself the hassle of the full cell.

Mattie170,
I do have alot of information and a ridiculous amount of pictures regarding these setups if you are in need down the road. A good quality fuel cell setup will not be cheap but it does fix the issues that we have with our factory tanks. It also gives you a ton of options for fuel pumps, filters etc. An atl 12 gallon and 15 gallon fuel cell will fit in the factory location with some cutting but will not fit flush due to the diff being directly under that area. I paid roughly $1500 for my aluminum 15 gallon cell with a full molded bladder and sump and an offset aluminum filler setup with a fuel sender. Then it was just a process of researching the rules and regulation of the types of racing i would be interested in and build a cage to support the fuel cell.

Here is a picture of mine. I simply buit an aluminum cover for the factory location after I mounted the cell in the trunk.

Here is a picture of a guy whose name on here was spunky. I believe he was building a drift car. His has all the same features as mine but is the 12gal model.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. -Nate
