Full Under Floor/Diffuser

I am not trying to be mean or a prick, but your comments have a face value of pretty much 0 to me. You provided 0 evidence as to why the underbody diffuser does much of anything, at all.
Its like throwing on an intake and saying I made 5whp because I can feel the difference with my ass behind the wheel. Hope Im making sense here. I need data, technical data and from experienced race drivers/teams. Not just someone who drove the password car down the street. =/

Just giving my feedback as to what I "felt", but according to you feeling means nothing next to hard evidence on paper. The way you responded makes me think if I turboed my car and told you it felt very quick...you would say show me the proof...lol.
Also if you know nothing about a person then don't label them as anything. To assume all i do is drive a car down the street is your choice. Let's see here....this underbody diffuser is the first of it's kind by PWJDM. There is currently maybe only 4-5 people who have driven the car with the kit, including myself. It's this reason that I am giving my feedback from what I gathers after the drive. I'm not trying to sell the product, and not saying it won't have issues that people are concerned of. I'm only saying that they have designed it well with cooling main areas in mind, and that I only felt an improvement in the cars handling while driving.
Oh and anyone in the racing and competition will tell you that a diffuser like this does help you with cornering/handling. Your data has already been offered by others manufacturers and race "teams/drivers" that have them. Yet what I think you want to know is will it help the S2000 in general, yes?

if I'm pushing my car at all, anywhere, then believe me I drive it to it's limits. While it is no track how is my test mean nothing. I compared the feeling of the PWs car to mine on the same roads/same turn/etc.
b) on the off chance that your street driving does approach track intensity, we refuse to listen to you because you're a street-racing clown.
BTW, thanks for the new sig line.

You can still get some minor drag benefits on a street car, but it comes at the cost of making the car harder to inspect and work on and potentially compromising cooling.

a) we don't believe you because track driving and street driving at only mildly related.

b)? when did i say anything about street racing. this from someone who probably does nothing more then talk. You would probably end up being laps behind me if we ever met on the track.
no problem jack ass. use it to your liking, but how am I a street racing clown? I give my opinion on a product, and am labeled a street clown. let me guess, your a well known race car driver...? ...give me a break
Grow up.

Anybody who actually knows what he is talking about will tell you what Jack told the forum quite some time ago. Underbody aero is extremely sensitive to ride height and pitch, thus making it a reliable source of downforce only in cars that are sprung so hard that they are essentially unsprung.

Obviously with out some hard data we won't know what exactly is going on with the heat temps of the mentioned parts. I can't say if it has seen track use yet, but I believe PW has already shipped a few over seas for some track cars. Also that car pictured is street drivin daily, as well as another members car with the kit. They have not had any heating issues of any kind, and that's from driving in 90-100+ degree cali weather. Yes it's not the track but it's still says something.
With regards to functionality, I am surprised the kit only addresses flattening the underbody and not the larger goal of moving air quickly underneath the car. As Jack mentioned above, very low ground clearances and side skirts are recommended to get results (makes sense based on my readings as well). That being said, I would like to see side skirts and a disclaimer about proper ride heights to be used with the kit in order to get results. Again, hopefully PWJDM has some data to share in this department as well.
With regards to the gentleman I am quoting, it sounds like you and your signature really, really want this kit to work. Be patient. If it performs well enough, the product will sell itself. Your subjective options on this product, while useful to some, are not what the people on this forum are looking for. Hard data is much more useful than "feelings"

I'm confused now because I thought we were talking about using this product on track cars that are sprung hard?
tinkfist - thank you for responded respectfully. I agree with everyone with actual hard data will give us the best feedback on this product. I just tried to give my take on the product since i have seen it in person, and had a chance to experience it.
I find people on this forum at all times explaning to people how a certain suspension set up "feels" or how a wing "feels" around a c=corner compared to another without any data and yet they do not get attacked.
I respect this forum, and often just spend time reading through interesting posts to expand my knowledge and learn more. However, I have noticed that when a new person(who does not post on these forums often) visits with a post or opinion...they are quickly attacked and bashed as either being a street racer or an idiot. This is not the way to treat people who may just be looking for some help. I mean everyone of you guys started out as they did.

1) Sebring AP1 explains with great patience and restraint why your test drive means nothing in this forum. You misread it as a personal attack.
2) I attempt (with a bit of added levity) to re-explain it. You misread it as a personal attack.
3) You respond with a personal attack aimed at me.
4) You whine about R&C being unfriendly to noobs.
5) Reading comprehension: you're doing it wrong.
Now back to our regularly scheduled bench racing.
