Default Functional splitter for OEM lip

What functional splitters are avaliable from the aftermarket that work with the OEM ap2 lip? I prefer not to use support rods but I could deal with them. Looking for something that will not cost an arm and a leg as I still need to get a rear wing also. It doesn't seem like the DownForce lip would be functional at all. But it does look very clean. I'm also affraid that some splitters may stick out too far and cause me to drag them and screw them up very easily whel leaving drive ways and such. As of now it takes a pretty bad angle for me to drag my lip at my lowered ride heigt. Material also isn't a big deal. Even metal would work. What are the odds of these making the front lip or bumper sag over time?

Why exactly do you want a "functional" front splitter?

It's my understanding that when running a functional wing such as the apr gtc-200 at the track it's a good idea to have a front plitter to help even things out since the rear wing is creating so much rear downforce.

If you're looking for something ready made that will work with the OEM lip, just get the APR carbon fiber one. It's a nice piece and even when I sometimes scrape going into steep gas station entrances and when I autox, ram it into cones, it hasn't budged or suffered any damage.

Been looking at it actually. What all is involved with installing it?

It comes flat with no holes pre-drilled so you have to figure out yourself how you want to mount it. Jeff (Minitoyota) actually installed mine and it was a PITA. I wanted to make sure it wasn't going anywhere so it's secured with 15 bolts, 5 of them (towards the rear of the splitter) directly onto the cross bar under there. It definitely doesn't go anywhere but it's also annoying when you have to remove the bumper coz it takes a while to remove all the bolts. You'll run into this issue of course with any splitter you buy or make, you will have to always find a way to mount it. Don't just attach it to the lip though unless you want to lip to just rip right off.
