Thanks for the info Marc!

I installed a Saner bar a few months ago and went through the end link update. The end links cost as much as the used bar. Looks like I will be going through it all over again.

I spent close to $100 for the end links, and another $40 for a Helicoil kit that the upgrade for the Saner bar required. (You don't need the Helicoil kit for the Gendron.)

Just found out the Gendron I'm looking at is the updated one.

after putting on my coil overs i am running into the clearance issue now as well. maybe if i dial back the camber a little it might give me more space? i installed the J's camber kit and have the camber settings pushed to max negative.

I'm hoping to work on mine over the 4-day Thanksgiving weekend. Fortunately, (or is that unfortunately? ), my S is stored for the winter so I have time to figure things out.

Dialing back camber will make the shock closer as your pulling the bottom control arms inwards towards the endlink.

understood, but at this point if i dial back the camber it will help straighten out the shock body providing more vertical travel no?

-To the OP - does your have the updated captive end links? my bar has the updated arms but still have the bolt and nut fasteners. i emailed Small fortune racing to see if i can acquire the updated links. if not im sure i can make my own. i just have to measure the adjustment hole diameter to make sure i get the proper size stud. i am also trying to use the 3rd hole closest to soft. i guess i can always start out at the second setting. and change it out later when i get the updated links.

I have the bolt and nut fasteners. I had updated my Saner end links. I'll have to see if I can use those with the Gendron.

i might try cutting down the shank of the male end. currently its too long and its not shortening enough to allow me to put the fastener through the eyelet on the control arm.

totally forgot i had an extra set of shorter shank end links. i got the bar on but im still concerned that there isnt enough room from the end link and shock. i got a hold of Bill and i will try and purchase the updated links. i looked through mcmaster carr and it seems the end links they have that would be the right diameter (i think) 3/8 or 5/16 shanks will be too short.
