Yeah, I guess it was wet in Atlanta this weekend. (I just saw some photos.) Rain would also help the Subarus. And thanks for the kind words on the Miata. Guess what's in my garage? Mine is naturally aspirated, but a limited-slip diff does do wonders for those cars.

David,

Any chance of you running the S2000 in any Solo I's this year? As far as I know no one has set one up to run Solo I's. I think the car would do well and some interesting stories should come out of it. The SEdiv has some good sites this year...

The Solo I races are being taken over this year by the Club Racing side of the SCCA. That may give us both a name change and more national attention. Those of us who do it love. Of course you've got more tracks and chances to run tracks than we do in the SE. Still, I prefer Solo I's over open track or DE's.

We recently had a very nice lunch with the SCCA's Howard Duncan, and the Solo I program was discussed. I'd like to see us do some, although we'd probably run the MINI Cooper S or Ro-Spit, only because they're already set up with cage, fire system, harnesses and so on. But yeah, I need to check the schedule and see what we can make.

Yeah Massive amounts of Rain and a River flowing though the right side course makes for great runs by AWD cars on Snow tires.
