Was on track with a 996 GT3 Cup car this weekend, blew by me like i wasn't moving.

 

I was on track (well, in the paddock) with a 997 GT3 Cup car this weekend. So there!

(I was in a different run group, so I had no opportunity to get passed by it. Instead I just went over and checked it out while it was sitting up on its air jacks.)

 

3.6 litre flat six engine makes 415hp? DAMN definately porsche engineering i guess. even m3 only makes 333hp.

 

It's what you get when you take something and work at it for 40 years to perfect it. It's the same reason I don't want Honda to change the S2000. I just want them to refine it for decades until it's perfect. Keep shedding weight, refine the suspension, improve the components and tune the engine until it makes 350HP from 2 liters at 12,000 RPM.

 

I don't think Honda is paying attention to you

 

porsche 911 GT3, 3.6L flat six engine makes 415hp = 115 hp/L

Honda S2000 2.0L Inline four makes 240hp = 120 hp/L

we still have them beat on that one!
