At 100+mph, that small lip splitter is having an effect. IMO, my easiest option is to remove the splitter.
Thanks. You are likely right, it's probably having some effect. However, it is far from the easiest option (at least for a lazy stiff like me) as it requires jacking the car and unfastening 10 or 12 bolts v. turning the adjusters on the shocks. Since I will be going to a different track, I'd like to start with the current set up as baseline and adjust from there. If I can't get the balance I want from adjusting the rebound and bump, I will remove the splitter and start the adjustment process over.

I wouldn't pull the splitter either. I don't think the effort is worth the effect. The first thing I would try is simply adding some rear rebound 1 click at a time.

And check your hot tire pressures at the end of a session. Depending on how you drive, you might be aired up in rear which can make it skatey.

Thanks, that's a given. I have found that 37 front/36.5 rear hot works well for me on the NT-01s. Issues noted were at hot stablile pressures. It usually takes a couple of sessions to stabilize (depending upon ambient temperature and moisture) as I like to start the day with cold pressures at 31/30.5 and then adjust down as the tire temps come up. I can definitely feel when the rears approach 39 -40 psi as the car becomes skatey at that point. T1 at Pacific is taken flat in 6th, probably a 125 mph+ corner in the S and it's not a pleasant experience if the rears are above 40 psi.

Note, I start that high cold because there are days here in the PNW when it can be hard to get heat in the tires - believe it our not...

Update 10/15/2012:
Increasing rear rebound by 2 clicks seems to have addressed issue #1 - i.e. the rear getting light/twitchy on throttle lift.

Friday was a rainy day at Pacific Raceways and, on top of the wet weather (first rainy day in over a month), two cars put down fluid making the track extremely greasy. However, by the last session, T8 through the front straight dried sufficiently to get speeds up to 120+ mph through T1 and into T2. The car was stable at throttle lift and into braking allowing me to more precisely set the car for corner entry than in the past. I was on street tires (Michelin Pilot SS) because of the rain so not an apples and apples comparison, but encouraging.

For now, I'm considering this closed and will be working on my rain set up for the winter months. Thanks to all who contributed ideas and expertise, your help is very much appreciated.

Have u thought about upping your spring rates above stock clubsport? 550# is pretty low for track, especially with r-compounds IMO. Even light civics run 650+ due to braking forces.

Just for reference, I am able to run 750# front rates without issue on my clubsports. I mainly autocross though. But even for daily driving, they handle the 750s fine. I use 10/12 clicks compression and 9 of 18 rebound for steet and its not bouncy over bad bridge cracks/ bumps at 80mph.

Good luck. If u want to know where the best prices are for 60mm springs look at shock-shop.com. I went with the 5.5" 750s for the front and 5.5" 650s rear but maybe switching to 6" 700# rears once I add a wing.
