Can you run this bar and still be legal for AS? I know you can run safety equipment, but I didn't know if this bar would be legal since you're removing the OEM components, thanks.

If you trim around the bar and reinstall the interior, it would be AS legal, though you've just added about 60 lbs of weight to the car...

I did the same thing as SlowS2k, bust out the Dremel and cut the plastic handle part off. You really don't lose that much leverage.

Just FYI for future DIY'ers.

To expose the latch, just pop off the side panel. Four white clips for the panel and two 12mm bolts for the latch.
