Default Hardrace rca

Apparently the rca widens the track as well as lower the car. Does anyone know approximately how much? Also, will my spring rate be effected?

Just curious because I'm on cr shocks and swift spec r springs. Deciding between hardrace and spc for front camber adjustability.

Roll centre adjusters don't widen or lower the car??

See attached pic for example.

The offset hardrace RCA in fact does both. It moves the knuckle up, that is the RCA part. And it moves it out, that is the offset/camber part.

I would guess it increases track width by about 1cm per side. That is about 1 degree of camber on a 25" tire. I'm not really sure the official definition of track width though. This would be how much the bottom of the tire is pushed out.

Edit: thinking about it more it is probably less than 1cm per side since the top of the wheel will move in some as well. Probably more like 6 or 7mm.

So I was reading Rob Rob's install with the megan rca's. Apparently it lowered his car .15 inches. Im guessing the j's and hardrace rca's will lower the car approximately the same. That's not much..however, 1 cm wider per side is 10mm and that's a decent amount. Trying to fit some 9 inch wheels with +49 offset, -2.5 camber and 255. From all my research, sounds like if I add the rca, i'll be cutting it close even with fender work.

Ok I understand what you mean, but technically it doesn't lower or widen the track, it adjusts the angle of the arms back towards OEM adjustment.

That number I guessed at is how much the bottom of the tire will move out.

Either way, a 255 on +49 is not going to be safe without a little fender work.

The track width definitely will increase. The hub face is moved out. I don't see how that is not technically increasing the track width?

Note that I'm not taking about a basic RCA. That will not increase track width. But an offset RCA will.
