Default Harness question

The aftermarket seat i bought doesn't have a hole for the 5th and 6th point of the harness to go straight down to the floor. Is it ok to bolt it to the floor behind the seat and have them come up through where the seat reclines at and sit on the harness to fasten it? I hope this makes sense thanks!

not exactly answering your question, but might be an option: 6-points can be attached to the same point as your lap belts. i tried to find you a good pic, but this is all i could find (pic is 1/2 way down, kinda hard to see how he attached it):

this is a set of brackets made for this type of installation:

so basically you sit down on the straps, and then pull up the locking part up between your legs to hook into the cam.

i use this, which only requires 4 attachment points but is a 6-point and keeps you from submarining:

A) I wouldn't.

B) Always follow the instructions that came with the harness EXACTLY.

Well someone i know who races said that should be ok. Anyone else have input? Would it be safer to just run a 4pt?... What are my options in an aftermarket seat with no hole for a sub strap??

I gave you the solution above. Run your sub belts where your lap belts go or buy the jet pilot.

Or just buy a real seat.
