If you mark across the subframe and the body with a paint or wax pen you can see how it shifted and how much. Make marks at each corner to try to even it out.

OP let's get some history.

did you just try to install the megan camber joints and align the car when you discovered this alignment discrepancy?

or has the megan camber joints been on the car for quite some time and this situation suddenly occurred?

how were your previous alignments, did you have significant cross camber and cross caster as you do now?

what kind of suspension are you on?

if you look at your knuckle and the upright, , it should be pretty close to a 90 degree angle, if it forms an acute angle it's bent, if it's a pretty obvious obtuse angle its also bent.

also if your ball joints collapse, I guess this could also affect your camber/caster as well.

i guess blown compliance bushings could also affect camber/caster range too

lots of possibilities including all the stuff rob rob mentioned

Very good technique.

gptoyz is asking some very good troubleshooting questions.

I've had the joints on forever.

Before when I had the car at stock height I got it to 2.2 each side and was fine. But now when I am trying to get more caster they said I can't get more than my 5.5 now

I asked them to check my max camber and they said front one side max at 3.2 but otherwise other side is limited.

The rear is 3.5 max

I am lowered on twin flex

if its off more then half a degree side to side, then shifting subframe probably wont do it.
3.3 seems about right
your 2.2 side probably has a bent spindle. very common, sorry to hear

hey rob rob i've been meaning to ask you

What do you think of the spoon collars for alleviating the issue of the subframe shifting?

I know it sounds lazy, but if I understand the design of the spoon subframe collars, they will index and take up the tolerance between the subframe and the frame. I'm not drinking the spoon kool aid on it's affects about making the car more compliant, I figure this way, I won't have to worry about the alignment shifting from tracking as often and my alignment will stay more true longer.

what are your thoughts?

the spoon collars will eliminate any shifting of the subframe and also give you a little better feel to how the car drives. Some people think it will drastically change your lap times or something but it will only change the way the car feels over bumps and uneven roads some say it makes the car feel more connected with the road. Anyways...I deal with a body shop that takes cars to my shop for alignments all the time with bent suspension after they have wrecked and from what your saying it sounds like a bent spindle. Its hard to say with out looking at the vehicle but I would start with that

Hey rob here's a link to the collars I was referring to

http://passwordjdm.com/Spoon-Sports-...8106C2412.aspx

I'm skeptical about it's qualitative performance increase but if it helps keep alignment true and prevents shifting of the subframe then it sounds like a nice cautionary mod
